Wanshida Successfully Produces Customized Gantry Shear for Overseas Customer

Jiangsu Wanshida Hydraulic Machinery Co., Ltd. proudly announces the successful completion and factory testing of a custom-built Gantry Shear designed specifically for one of our valued international customers. This project demonstrates Wanshida’s strong capability in custom hydraulic engineering and our dedication to meeting unique customer requirements in the global scrap metal recycling industry.

The newly finished Gantry Shear was tailored according to the customer’s production demands, including enhanced cutting force, enlarged feed opening, and optimized blade configuration to handle oversized scrap steel, H-beams, and heavy metal structures efficiently. With a cutting force of up to 800 tons and a robust hydraulic power system, the machine ensures high-speed, precise, and energy-efficient cutting performance under continuous heavy-duty operation.

Before shipment, our technical engineers conducted comprehensive performance testing—covering hydraulic pressure, shear speed, oil temperature stability, and safety controls. The results fully met the customer’s specifications and Wanshida’s strict quality standards. The machine will soon be packed and shipped in a flat-rack container, ready for installation at the customer’s recycling plant.

Wanshida’s Gantry Shear series is widely used in steel mills, scrap yards, and metal recycling centers, providing reliable solutions for large-scale metal cutting and recycling. Each model can be customized in blade length, cutting force, and control system (manual or PLC automatic) to match the customer’s operational requirements.
